Some in-game dialogue also reveals a bit about what Takeda is up to during the events of Mortal Kombat 11. Takeda makes some background appearances in various Tower endings, so any Mortal Kombat 11 players who want to see Takeda will need to beat the Towers for various characters.
Even so, Takeda does have some cameos in the new game. Unlike Reptile, it doesn't appear as though Takeda is hiding in Mortal Kombat 11's Krypt either. However, Takeda is not part of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster, and is nowhere to be found in the story mode, despite its huge stakes. For example, in Mortal Kombat X, we met Kenshi's son Takeda Takahashi, also known as Scorpion's apprentice.
It's no secret that Mortal Kombat 11 is missing some fan-favorite characters like Mileena and Reptile, but the game is also missing some newer characters as well.
